About Us
****👋 Hey, we’re Additive! We’re building tools that give superpowers to tax professionals. Accounting services is a $600BB TAM market that has a dire talent shortage and is dominated by manual workflows which lack great tooling. We’re starting with automating the ingestion of tax documents into structured formats so tax pros can start doing their most valuable work, and then we’ll expand to help with downstream workflows.
Our founding team consists of Dwight Crow, a third time AI CEO with two prior exits, Aaron Taylor, a prior startup founder and former engineering leader of Salesforce Industries Generative AI, Venky Iyer of early Facebook, and Nam Tran former Senior Manager from Ernst & Young.
We've just raised +$6MM of funding from Elad Gil, Blake Byers, and other top angels such as Naval Ravikant (CEO AngelList), Lukas Biewald (CEO Weights & Biases), Robert Nishihara (CEO Anyscale), Fred Ehrsam (Founder Coinbase), Immad Akhund (CEO Mercury), Henry Kravis (of KKR), etc in a meaningfully oversubscribed round.
